Grand Gorge Apartments

Provides safe affordable housing to persons with disabilities, the handicapped, and to senior citizens 62 years of age or older with incomes at or below 60% of Delaware County median income. Grand Gorge Apartments was developed by converting the old Grand Gorge school into 22 one -bedroom apartments and 2 two-bedroom apartments each with a kitchen, living room dining room combination, and bathroom. Each bedroom and bathroom is equipped with pull cords that are monitored 24- hours per day for added tenant safety.

Grand Gorge Apartments has ample off street parking, a coin operated laundry facility, and a community room. There is a regularly scheduled bus which picks up tenants to go shopping every week and the apartments are located adjacent to the Grand Gorge Meal senior meal site which serves nutritious and delicious meals Monday thru Friday.

Rent for each tenant varies because the rent is based on income after allowable deductibles. Each tenant is eligible to receive New York State rental assistance. Please call 607-652-2823 to find out the income limits.
